University of Idaho center Adam Korby has been chosen to the Rimington Watch List, which honors the nation's best football center, for the third successive season.

Korby, who was voted the Vandals' offensive team captain for the second year, has started every game of his Idaho career.  He is a three-time winner of the team's Wayne Walker Ironman Award.

There are 42 players on this year's watch list. The winner will be announced in January 2009.

While more than a dozen All-America football teams are selected annually, the Rimington Trophy committee uses these four prestigious teams to determine a winner:

• American Football Coaches Association
• Walter Camp Foundation
• The Sporting News
• Football Writers Association of America

The Center with the most first team votes will be determined the winner.  If there is a tie with first team votes, then the Center with the most second team votes will win.  If there is still a tie, the winner will be determined by the Rimington Trophy committee.
