MOSCOW, Idaho - Idaho women's tennis coach Tyler Neill has finalized his roster for the 2010-11 season with the addition of Lauren Simpson, a sophomore transfer from Troy University.
Simpson played at the No. 2 position in both singles and doubles for Troy her freshman year, and went 12-16 in singles and 17-8 in doubles. The Canberra, Australia native was ranked as high as 139 in the Australian women's rankings before playing collegiately.
"Lauren will make a very nice addition to our team," Neill said. She has some great results against some tough teams from the SEC and ACC. It is always nice to get a transfer who has some experience and has already adjusted to playing college tennis. I expect her to contribute immediately in both our doubles and singles lineup."
