Vandal recruit wins

Amy Hasenoehrl, who will join the Vandals this fall after graduating from Lewiston High School this spring, won the Idaho state girls golf championship Tuesday. Hasenoehrl came from off the lead to win in a sudden death playoff. She used a 65 to reach a tie with Gabby Barker and force the playoff. Hasenoehrl birdied the first playoff hole to secure medalist honors at Lewiston Golf and Country Club.
