MOSCOW, Idaho – After spending nearly a month away from home, Idaho returns to Cowan Spectrum to host Northern Arizona on Thursday night at 7 p.m.

MATCHUP – Idaho (10-6, 2-1 BSC) is 37-18 all-time against NAU (3-11, 1-2 BSC).  Last season, the Vandals fell to the Lumberjacks, 72-65, in Flagstaff.

LAST TIME OUT – The Vandals fell at Eastern Washington, 74-60.  The Eagles came out on fire to develop a double-digit lead in the opening minutes that they would not look back from.  The Vandals made a late push, but ran out of time in the end.

BIG SKY PLAY – Idaho is 2-1 so far in the Big Sky, with all three games taking place on the road.  Only one other Big Sky team opened play with three straight on the road, with Sacramento State going 0-3.

D-FENCE – The Vandals have the top defense in the Big Sky, holding opponents to just 65.2 points per game.  Idaho also rebounds the ball tremendously well, as the Vandals are allowing the fewest rebounds per game (29.9) and have the best rebound margin (+8.1) in the conference.

FINISH STRONG – This season, the Vandals are 5-0 in games decided by five points or fewer, including going 2-0 in Big Sky play.  Last season, Idaho was just 4-8 in “close games”.
