MOSCOW, ID – The Vandal track and field program returns to action as it plays host for the Vandal Indoor Invitational tomorrow, Saturday January 15th at the University of Idaho Kibbie Dome. The first field events will start at 9AM while the beginning running event, the women's mile, will take place at 10AM. Admission is free for all fans.
Idaho boasts a strong returning cast, highlighted by junior Faith Eruwa (jumper), redshirt junior Katelyn Peterson (jumper), redshirt sophomore AC Carroll (jump/sprints), senior Tayler Feinauer (thrower), senior Ben Ayesu-Attah (sprinter), senior Derek Haas (thrower), senior Matt Sullivan (pole vault), senior Jesse Villines (thrower), redshirt junior Ian Middleton (multi-event), and senior Kinsey Gomez (distance). All are in postion to have a positive and strong impact on the Vandals team as a whole.
Gomez looks to continue to lead the Vandals as she is coming off an excellent cross country season, finishing third at the Big Sky Conference Championships and 17th at the NCAA West Regional race.
