SEATTLE—Idaho men's tennis rebounded with a 6-1 win on Sunday at Seattle U. The Vandals recovered from their loss on Saturday, winning five of the six singles matches.

The Vandals got out to a strong start, taking the doubles point. Seattle U took the first doubles match on the No. 3 court. Idaho answered back with wins from Felipe Fonseca and Odon Barta on the No. 2 court and Artem Vasheshnikov and Jackson Varney on the No. 1 court.

Fonseca opened singles play for the Vandals with a 6-3, 6-1 win over John Stromans in No. 2 singles. Vasheshnikov scored Idaho's third point of the day with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Michael Schoettler in the No. 3 position. Varney got the clincher for the Vandals with a 6-3, 6-0 win in No. 4 singles.

Barta and Lucas Coutinho added wins on the No. 1 and No. 5 courts to give Idaho five singles wins.

Idaho returns to action on February 13, taking on LCSC and Whitman in Lewiston, Idaho.
