MOSCOW, Idaho—The Idaho women's basketball team returns to the Cowan Spectrum on Thursday. The Vandals kickoff the final homestand of the season with Portland State. Thursday night's game is the annual Pink Game. The Vandals will wear special shooting shirts that will be auctioned off during the game. Fans can get into the game for free with a donation of a blanket. Admission is $5 for anyone wearing pink.
Fans can also donate $1 and have the chance to take a half-court shot at halftime. All proceeds and donations will go to the Light a Candle Foundation.
About Idaho: The Vandals ended North Dakota's seven-game win streak to close the last week's road trip. Idaho sits third in the Big Sky standings with five games left to play in the regular season.
About the Opponent: Portland State has lost five consecutive. The Vikings last win was an 81-79 upset over Eastern Washington.
The Match-Up: Idaho ran away with a 94-65 win in Portland last time the two schools met. Idaho tied a school record with 17 made 3-pointers. Taylor Pierce led the Vandals with 18 points.
RPI: Idaho's 132 RPI is second in the Big Sky Conference. UND leads the conference (129).
Rain Makers: Idaho along with Sacramento State are the only two schools in the NCAA to have four games of 15 or more 3FGM.
