For her success last week, Idaho golfer Kristin Strankman was chosen Big Sky Women's Golfer of the Week.

With Idaho taking part in the Gold Rush tournament, hosted by Long Beach State at Old Ranch Country Club, Strankman finished with a three-round total of 226 (+9). After opening with a three-over 75, Strankman closed with rounds of 74 and 77 to finish tied for 23rd place.

"I am extremely proud of Kristin for her Big Sky Player of the Week Honor," coach Lisa Johnson said. "She has elevated her game this year, and we look for her to have many more strong performances this spring."
