MOSCOW, Idaho – The University of Idaho Track & Field program is thrilled to announce the signing of Chloe Woest from Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Collins, Colo.
Woest is a talented track & field athlete, whose focus has primarily been the pole vault, although she has also excelled in the 100m hurdles and long jump during her career. She has a personal best of 12' 2” in the pole vault and finished second in the Colorado State Championships in the event as a junior.
Her personal best in the vault would be ranked ninth in the Big Sky Conference at this time. Her marks in the long jump at 17'9” and in the 100m hurdles at 15.19 are also impressive and demonstrate the athleticism Woest brings to the pole vault.
“Chloe is a well-rounded student athlete and we are excited to have her in the Vandal family. With her competitive nature and skill set I believe she can make a big impact for us in the vault.” -Tim Cawley, Director of Track & Field/Cross Country.
Woest has not decided on a major, but is excited to explore the different possibilities at Idaho.
