University of Idaho football coach Robb Akey is one of 20 FBS coaches on the Bryant College Football Coach of the Year Watch List, which was released Monday by the American Heart Association - sponsor of the annual award. The award dates to 1986. Finalists will be announced in December with the winner announced at the Jan. 14, 2010 awards dinner at Houston. Akey has turned the Vandals from a 2-10 team in 2008 to a 6-2 bowl-eligible squad in 2009.
