Career Stats

2013-14: A second team All-WAC selection this season, Charlston was second on the team with 14.3 points per game and third in rebounding with 6.7 per game...Charlston recorded 43.7 field goal percentage and a 70.0 free throw percentage...she earned her third All-Tournament selection in the WAC Tournament and was WAC Player of the Week once this season...Charlston earned her second CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-America honor this season with a 3.97 GPA...she was selected to the second team...scored a career-high 32 points at Eastern Washington on Dec. 14...scored in double figures 27 of 34 games...finished the season with seven double-doubles (26 career)…played in 130 consecutive games, the most by an player in Idaho history…closed her career as the fifth all-time leading scorer Idaho history (1,587), fifth in career field goals made (601), fourth in rebounding (855), fourth in blocks (128), ninth in free throws made (290) and seventh in free throws attempted (429)…ended her four-year career as the 65th active scorer in the NCAA…ranked 22nd among active players on the NCAA’s 2,000 pts & 1,000 reb. list (minimums of 1,500 pts and 800 reb.). 

2012-13: A first team All-WAC selection for the second consecutive season, Charlston led Idaho with 13.4 points and 6.9 rebounds per game and had a team-best 45.3 field goal percentage…Charlston also collected WAC Player of the Week and WAC all-tournament team honors during 2012-13…scored a season-high 29 points on 11-of-18 shooting including a buzzer-beating layup in Idaho’s 68-66 win over Eastern Washington on Nov. 27…scored in double figures 25 times and scored 20 or more points on five occasions…had 10 or more rebounds eight times and had eight double-doubles on the season…pulled in a season-high 17 rebounds on Jan. 24 at Texas State…hit 28 3-pointers on the season and shot 45.9 percent from long range…also averaged 1.2 assists, .97 blocks and 0.6 steals per game.

2011-12: Charlston earned a host of honors during the 2011-12 season...she was a first team all-WAC selection and a third-team Academic All-American...she also earned all-tournament team honors at the WAC tournament as well as the New Mexico Tournament and the Lady Griz Holiday Classic...Charlston was also the recipient of WAC Player of the Week honors once during the season...she averaged team-bests with 14.4 points, 8.9 rebounds and a 48.2 field goal percentage for the season...she ranked sixth in the WAC in scoring and fourth in both rebounding and field goal percentage...she also averaged 1.03 blocks per game, which was sixth best in the WAC...Charlston had 11 double-doubles on the season...she scored a career-high 30 points on 10-of-16 shooting against Southern Miss on Dec. 30...she also scored 29 points and made a career-high 12 field goals against Utah State on Jan. 28...she scored in double figures in 15 consecutive games from Dec. 30 to March 1, only snapping that streak when she missed the first half and only played 11 minutes against San Jose State on March 1 due to illness...shot 66.2 percent from the free-throw line for the season and also made 19 3-pointers, hitting 33.9 percent of her 3-point attempts...played in all 32 games and started 31.

2010-11: Alyssa played in all 31 games for the Vandals and has made six starts...she averaged 6.2 points and 3.8 rebounds per game...she scored in double-figures nine times on the season, including a career-high 15 points on Jan. 29 against New Mexico State...she scored a then-career-high 10 points against Sacramento State on Nov. 27, before topping that mark with 13 points against Cal. State Bakersfield on Nov. 28...nearly had her first career double-double as she added nine rebounds against Sacramento State, and eight against CSU Bakersfield...she scored nine points and had eight rebounds in her second career start on Dec. 23 at St. Mary’s...made her first career start on Dec. 8 against Montana.

High School: Charlston comes to Idaho as one of the most highly-rated players in the Northwest.’s HoopGurlz recruit service rated her as the No. 61 forward in the nation and the No. 8 overall prospect from the state of Washington. During her senior season she averaged 14.6 points per game to go along with 9.3 rebounds. She also averaged 2.7 assists and 1.7 blocks per game. She recorded 10 double-doubles on the season, including a 23-point, 17-rebound performance. Scored a season-high 25 points in a game. As a junior she led the Wolves to a 17-9 record and second-place finish in the 4A KingCo - Crest league and a sixth-place finish at the Washington 4A state tournament. She was a first-team All-KingCo as a sophomore and junior. She averages 12 points, nine rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game.
