Bossio makes it to round of 64

University of Idaho junior golfer Jarred Bossio advanced to the round of 64 at the U.S. Amateur Golf Championship before falling 2 and 1 to Harris English of Athens, Ga., at Chambers Bay Golf Club at Dupont, Wash. Bossio reached the match play portion of the prestigious event after tying for 40th – out of 312 players, during the stroke play rounds. His 36-hole 147 was four-over par in the event that draws players from all over the world.
