|Vandals host rival Montana|
MOSCOW, Idaho - After playing five straight games away from home over a three-week span, the Idaho women's basketball team will return to Moscow to face off against rival Montana at 6 p.m. in Memorial Gym on Dec. 8.
The Vandals are off to a 5-2 start on the season, their best start since 2003-04. Meanwhile, Montana is 3-5 on the year entering the game.
Montana and Idaho have faced each other 41 times in series history, with the Lady Griz winning 35 of those games. However, this is the first time Idaho has gone into the game with a .500 or better record since 2004, and the first time in series history that Idaho has had a winning record heading into the game while Montana has had a losing record.
Vandal senior Yinka Olorunnife leads Idaho with 13.4 points and 8.9 rebounds heading into the game, while senior Derisa Taleni averages 9.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, and senior Rachele Kloke averages 9.0 point and 4.7 rebounds for Idaho.
Montana has dropped three of its last four games entering the week, and is led by 11.5 points and 9.4 rebounds per game from Katie Baker.

The home game is sandwiched between two five game road trips, as the Vandals will visit Seattle (Dec. 11), Gonzaga (Dec. 17), Saint Mary's (Dec. 23), Portland (Dec. 30) and Nevada (Jan. 6) before returning home to take on Fresno State on Jan. 10.
