|Vandal women head to Portland|
MOSCOW, Idaho - The Idaho women's basketball team will look to end its current three-game skid when it visits its third straight West Coast Conference opponent, Portland, on Dec. 30 in Portland, Ore.

It will be Idaho's final non-conference game of the season, and fourth of a five-game road trip. The Vandals are coming off losses to Seattle University, Gonzaga and Saint Mary's heading into the game. Idaho owns a 17-14 all-time lead in the series against the Pilots. Portland defeated Idaho 67-56 in Moscow last season. The Pilots are 9-4 so far in 2010-11, and face Portland State on Dec. 28 before taking on Idaho.
The Vandals are led by senior Yinka Olorunnife, who enters the game as the team's leading scorer and rebounder with 13.5 points and 9.1 rebounds per game. Olorunnife has five double-doubles in Idaho's 11 games this season. Senior Rachele Kloke ranks fifth in the Western Athletic Conference, shooting 47.9 percent from the field this season, and is averaging 11.7 points per game for the Vandals.
The Pilots leading scorer comes off the bench, as junior Natalie Day is averaging 15.2 points and 5.6 rebounds in 23.6 minutes per game off the bench for Portland. The Pilots are scoring 72.9 points per game and shooting 41.6 percent on the season, while Idaho averages. 64.9 points per game and shoots 39.4 percent from the field.
The game is the fourth of a five game road trip for the Vandals, which ends with the WAC opener at Nevada on Jan. 6, in a nationally televised game airing on ESPNU. After facing Nevada, the Vandals will be at home for six of their next seven games from Jan. 10 to Feb. 2.
