Kayla Mortellaro, a junior from Phoenix, Ariz. (Mesa Distance Learning), posted a third-place finish for the second consecutive week with a 3-over par 219 (72-73-74) at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational in Honolulu.  She was four strokes back of the winner and six strokes better than the next best WAC player as a total of five WAC schools competed in the 18-team field.  It is the 10th time in her career that Mortellaro has won a WAC golfer of the week or month award. She is the seventh-ranked amateur in the world this week.
