2011-12: Faines played in 23 games and started four in his first season with Idaho as a junior … he averaged 1.6 points and 1.5 rebounds on .483 shooting in 7.0 minutes per game … his 11 blocked shots ranked fourth on the team … earned his first career start in the opener at Long Beach State … scored a career-high five points at Utah State on Feb. 24 … grabbed a career-high five rebounds in Idaho’s 82-63 win at Hawai`i that clinched Idaho at least a third-place WAC finish … over his final 10 games of the season, shot 61.5 percent from the floor and averaged 2.0 rebounds per game.

Saddleback Junior College: Faines was named Southern California co-Player of the Year in 2011 after leading Saddleback to the state semifinal round and a 27-7 overall record … Orange Empire Conference co-Player of the Year … led the team with a 13.6 scoring average and ranked second in the OEC with 8.1 rebounds per game … also led OEC in shooting percentage (.564) and blocks per game (2.5) … helped lead Saddleback to a 26-5 overall record and California state title in 2009-10 … started 26 of 31 games as a freshman and averaged 7.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and a team-leading 1.9 blocks … led the team in 2010 with a 51.4 shooting percentage.

Lincoln Northeast High School: Faines was a Nebraska first-team all-state honoree in 2007 at Lincoln Northeast High School … earned all-city and MVP honors after averaging 18 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks per game for the Rockets.

Massanutten Military Academy: Faines attended Massanutten Military Academy in 2007-08 and averaged 10 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks while competing against prep schools around the nation.
