2012 Outdoor: Marshall was an All-America honoree, an NCAA finalist and a WAC champion in his second season at Idaho … finished 17th at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the javelin throw with a mark of 224-9 (68.52m) to earn USTFCCCA Honorable Mention All-America honors … took 12th at the NCAA West Preliminary in the javelin at 222-11 (67.96m) … won his first career WAC title and earned his first All-WAC First Team honor in the javelin with a throw of 218-10 (66.71m) at the WAC Outdoor Championships … moved into third in Idaho history with a career-best, winning throw of 230-6 (70.26m) at the Vandal Jamboree on May 5 … also won the javelin at the WAR V dual meet at 207-5 (63.22m) on April 7 and the Mondo Mid-Major Challenge on April 14 at 217-9 (66.38m) … eclipsed the 200-foot barrier in nine of his 10 competitions during the year and threw at least 215 feet six times, including each of his final five meets … Spring WAC All-Academic honoree.

2011 Outdoor: Marshall jumped into Idaho’s record book in his first career competition as a Vandal … threw a career-best 202-6 (61.72m) at the Dusty Lane Open on Mar. 19 … took fourth in the javelin throw and earned Second-Team All-WAC honors with a 201-6 (61.43m) at the WAC Championships ... took third in the javelin at the Whitworth Buc Scoring Invitational on Mar. 26 with a toss of 193-11 (59.10m) … battled an elbow injury for much of the season … WAC Spring All-Academic honoree.

High School: Marshall was a district and regional champion in the javelin and an all-state performer in the event at West Valley High School … won the Washington 3A Columbia Basin League title in the javelin with a throw of 183-3, then claimed the Eastern Washington 3A Regional title with a 179-3 in the event … finished fifth at the 2008 Washington 3A State Championships with a career-best throw of 183-9 … also had bests of 128-8 in the discus and 42-10 in the shot put … also competed in football.

Personal: He is the son of Randy and Lori Marshall … has one brother, Matt … earned his AA from Yakima Valley Community College in 2010 … majoring in Elementary Education at Idaho.
