Seniors Meaghan McCloskey and Kelsie Saxe were chosen as captains for the 2012-13 University of Idaho Swimming and Diving Team.

"Meaghan and Kelsie are the perfect choices to lead this team," second-year coach Mark Sowa said. "They have been through a great deal in this program and have a ton of perspective and a great understanding of what it will take to move Vandal Swimming and Diving forward.

"They are two great performers but also two respected student-athletes who lead by example. I am confident they will leave a lasting mark on this team."

McCloskey is from Kenmore, Wash., and is a graduate of Bishop Blanchet High School. Saxe is from Verong, Wisc., and a graduate of James Madison Memorial High School.
