The Idaho volleyball team has earned the No. 2 seed in next week's Western Athletic Conference tournament, and will face seventh-seeded Texas State (9-9) in the WAC quarterfinals at 2:30 Central/12:30 Pacific on Monday, Nov. 19 at the Convocation Center on the campus of UTSA in San Antonio, Texas.

Idaho finished with a 13-5 WAC record and tied UTSA for second place. With all tiebreakers between the Vandals and Roadrunners being exhausted, the seeding selection came down to a draw, which Idaho won to get the No. 2 seed.

The winner of Idaho's match against Texas State will advance to the semifinals on Nov. 20 at 4 p.m. Central/2 p.m. Pacific to face the winner of No. 3 UTSA against No. 6 San Jose State. The WAC championship match is Nov. 21 at 4 p.m. Central/2 p.m. Pacific, and will be nationally televised on ESPNU.
