ARLINGTON, Texas – The Idaho women's tennis team dropped a pair of Western Athletic Conference matches to UT Arlington and Louisiana Tech in Arlington, Texas to wrap up the weekend.

Idaho fell 4-1 to LA Tech and 4-2 to UT Arlington to fall to 8-10 on the season and 2-3 in WAC play.

The Vandals won the doubles point against UTA with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles, but only Victoria Lozano at No. 1 could pull out a singles victory as the Mavs won close matches at Nos. 3-6 to get the win.

Idaho won the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and 3 again against LA Tech, but it was the only point the Vandals would put on the board, as the Lady Techsters won at Nos. 2, 3, 4 and 6 singles for the 4-1 win.

The Vandals face Gonzaga in Spokane, Wash., on April 10 at 6 p.m. before playing three straight WAC matches at home against Seattle U on April 12, San Jose State on April 13 and Texas State on April 14.
