The Idaho volleyball team will take on Washington State and Nevada in its final week of non-conference play at the Cougar Invite in Pullman, Wash., Sept. 19 and 20.

Idaho enters the week at 6-4, riding a three-match winning streak after beating Boise State, Sacrament State and North Texas to win the Bronco Volleyball Classic in Boise, Idaho last weekend.

Washington State is on a roll in 2013, entering Thursday’s showdown with a 10-0 record. The Cougars have won four straight matches in straight sets and seven of their 10 overall have been of the 3-0 variety. Only one of WSU’s 10 matches this season has gone to five sets, that was a 3-2 Cougar win over Seton Hall on Aug. 31. Idaho is 21-39-2 all-time against Washington State, but has won three of the last four meetings, including two in a row. WSU coach Jen Greeny is 35-29 in her third season at the school.

A free live video stream of Idaho’s match at Washington State will be available at: http://pac-12.com/videos/washington-state-university.

The Vandals and Wolf Pack will square off for the first time since Nevada left the WAC after the 2011 season. Idaho owns a 24-13 advantage in the all-time series with Nevada, and has won eight in a row against the Wolf Pack. Nevada enters the week with a 2-7 overall record in 2013 and is coming off a 3-2 win over Montana. In her third season as head coach at Nevada, Ruth Lawanson is 11-53 overall.
