Vandals tie for eighth

PRINCEVILLE, Hawai`i – The University of Idaho men’s golf team tied for eighth at the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational.

The Vandals combined for a 54-hole 849 (15-under-par) with Jared du Toit posting the best Idaho finish with his tie for 20th. Du Toit had rounds of 68-69-74 for a five-under 211. Rylee Iacolucci tied for 28th with a 212 (76-68-68), with Aaron Cockerill (77-69-68) and Ryan Porch (71-74-69) tied for 35th at 214. Sean McMullen tied for 83rd at 225.

Cal State-Fullerton won the team title with an 822, while Louisville – with medalist Robert Geibel (201), was second at 823.
