SPOKANE, Wash. – The Idaho men’s tennis team got back on the right track with a 5-2 win at Gonzaga Thursday night.

The Vandals earned the doubles point with wins at Nos. 1 and 3 doubles, then sealed the match by winning at Nos. 2, 3, 4 and 5 singles.

“It’s nice to get back on track with the win,” Idaho coach Jeff Beaman said. “There were several positives from this match, and it was nice to win a doubles point. We look forward to a good day at practice tomorrow and a tough conference match against UMKC on Saturday.”

The win snaps a five-match skid for the Vandals, who improve to 4-6 on the season. Idaho takes on Kansas City in Western Athletic Conference play in Spokane on Saturday.
