Jahn is a 2003 graduate of the Air Force Academy and later earned her master's degree at the University of Tennessee. She comes to Idaho after one season at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas where she was the recruiting coordinator in addition to helping coach the Rebels to a seventh successive Mountain West title. Prior to her assistantship at UNLV, she was a graduate assistant at Tennessee from 2008-10 - a time span during which the Volunteers had 23 NCAA qualifiers, 15 NCAA All-Americans, 40 NCAA honorable mention all-Americans, and seven SEC champions.

Jahn's collegiate career at Air Force also included both swimming and playing water polo. After graduation, she served from 2003-08 as a Medical Service Corps Officer. She also has coached club teams.

"Even that doesn't quite do her justice.  She is an extremely good young coach, a tireless recruiter, has a brilliant record working at two very good programs, and shares our vision of where we want to move this program in the future.
