TUALATIN, Ore. - Kaitlyn Oster, who will be a sophomore at the University of Idaho this fall, qualified for the match play portion of the 103rd Women's Oregon Amateur Championship.
Oster earned the right to advance after back-to-back 83s gave her a two-round total 166 and a 16th-place finish in the medal portion of the event. She is one of 32 players to advance to the next phase.
Matches begin Wednesday and continue through Saturday's championship.
