Kaitlyn Oster, who will be a sophomore at the University of Idaho this fall, advanced to the semifinal round of the 103rd Oregon Women's Amateur but didn't make it to the title match after a 7 and 6 loss to Caitlin McCleary of The Dalles.

Oster made the semifinal match after her a birdie on the 18th hole Thursday gave her a 1-up victory over Beaverton's Gigi Stoll.
