Coming off a second-place finish at the Idaho Nike Invitational and a thrilling five-set win over Washington State, the Idaho volleyball team will hit the road for the first time in 2012 as it heads to California for four matches in a five-day span.
The Vandals (2-1, 0-0 Western Athletic Conference) start the trip with a match at Cal Poly (0-3) on Thursday. Idaho then faces UC Santa Barbara (2-1) and Northeastern (4-0) on Friday and Saturday in the UCSB Fall Invitational, and wraps up its trip with a Labor Day matinee against Cal State Northridge (2-1) at 12:30 on Monday.
