|VB heads to Seattle|
The Idaho volleyball team looks to extend its three-match win streak when it visits Seattle University at 7 p.m. on Friday.
The Vandals enter the week at 6-10 this season and 4-2 in the Western Athletic Conference after winning its last three matches against Utah State, Texas State and UTSA.
The Redhawks enter the match on a four-match losing streak, but their 6-10 (1-5 WAC) record may not be indicative of how good their team is. Three of Seattle U's five WAC losses came in five-set matches. Seattle U's six five-set matches in 2012 are second in the WAC, behind only Idaho's seven.
Kaytlyn Dill leads the Redhawks with 3.65 kills per set with 2.50 digs and a .139 hitting percentage. Her 3.65 kills currently rank fourth in the WAC.
Idaho and Seattle U have split four previous meetings, with the Redhawks winning most recently, a 3-1 win over Idaho in 2010.
Idaho junior Allison (Walker) Baker is the reigning WAC Player of the week after averaging 5.33 kills and 2.44 digs in a pair of Idaho victories. Her 29 kills in a four-set win over UTSA marked a new career-high, and she also tallied her 10th and 11th double-doubles of the season during the week, leading the WAC in that category. Her 29 kills are the second most of any WAC player this season, two behind Dill's 31 kills in a five-setter. Baker has three of the top four single-match kill totals in the WAC this season.

The Vandals will stay on the road for their longest trip of the year when they travel to UT Arlington on Oct. 11 and Louisiana Tech on Oct. 13. Idaho returns home Oct. 18 and 20 to begin the second half of WAC play against Utah State and San Jose State.
