The Idaho women's basketball team wraps up non-conference play on Thursday night against a familiar rival, as they visit Gonzaga at the McCarthy Center at 6 p.m.

Both the Vandals and Bulldogs are coming off losses entering Thursday's game, but Gonzaga, which is receiving votes in the USA Today Top 25, owns a 9-3 record while Idaho enters at 3-7. Gonzaga lost to Ohio State on Monday, and Idaho lost at Washington on Sunday.

The Vandals are 19-13 all-time against Gonzaga, but GU has owned the series lately. Gonzaga has won the last three meeting between the two teams, including a 91-42 victory in Moscow last season. Idaho's last win against Gonzaga was a 69-62 victory in November of 2005.

Gonzaga's lone double-figure scorer is Haiden Palmer, who averages 12.5 points per game. Keanai Albanez, who has come off the bench in each of GU's 12 games this season, averages 8.3 points per game. Jazmine Redmon averages 5.7 points, 4.0 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game for the Bulldogs, who shoot 40.7 percent from the field and hold their opponents to 55.3 points per game.

The Vandals are led in scoring, rebounding and field goal percentage by junior Alyssa Charlston, who averages 13.6 points and 7.5 rebounds per game, and shoots 44.5 percent from the field. Freshman Christina Salvatore averages 11.3 points per game, and 3.0 made 3-pointers per game. Sophomore Stacey Barr contributes with 8.7 points for the Vandals.

The game is Idaho's sixth consecutive away from Moscow, and Idaho is 2-3 so far in that span. The Vandals will play in Moscow for the first time in a month when they open Western Athletic Conference play against Seattle U on Dec. 29 in the Cowan Spectrum.
