In Delency Parham, Idaho coach Paul Petrino signed a
cornerback who could have an immediate impact on the Vandal defense.
Parham comes to Idaho from Santa Barbara City College after
a sophomore season during which he knocked down 20 passes in addition to
accumulating 46 tackles (21 solo and 25 assists). He also had two pass
interceptions and accounted for 2½ tackles for loss.
“He is a great lockdown cover corner,” Petrino said. “He
does a great job making tackles on the perimeter.
“We are very excited for him to come into the program and
have a chance to start. He will be a leader for us.”
Parham is a 2010 graduate of Berkeley High School at
Oakland, Calif.
