The Idaho women's basketball team will look for a conference road sweep as it visits New Mexico State for a 5:30 (Pacific) tipoff on Saturday. The Vandals got a 68-60 Western Athletic Conference win at Denver on Thursday, and will try to win two in a row for the first time in more than a month when they face the Aggies.

Saturday's action will be broadcast live online through Watch ESPN at the following link: Fans can also follow live stats online at

Idaho enters the game with a 5-10 overall record and a 2-2 mark in WAC play after winning two of its last three games. The Aggies are coming off a home loss to Seattle U, which snapped the team's three-game win streak, and are 9-6 overall and 3-2 in the WAC.

Idaho has five players averaging 10.0 or more points in WAC play, led by sophomore Stacey Barr's 17.0. Junior Alyssa Charlston and freshman Christina Salvatore each average 13.5 points during WAC games, freshman Connie Ballestero is scoring 10.5 and junior Addie Schivo chips in with 10.0.

The Vandals are the nation's seventh-best 3-point shooting team, in terms of 3-pointers made per game, and much of that can be credited to Salvatore and Barr. Salvatore's 2.93 3-pointers made per game rank 19th in NCAA Division I and second in the WAC, while Barr's 2.06 rank 114th in the nation and fourth in the WAC.

The Aggies are under second-year head coach Mark Trakh, who went 6-24 in his first season in Las Cruces before getting off to a 9-6 start in 2012-13. Trakh has a career record of 304-217. The Aggies play a lower-scoring brand of basketball than Idaho does, as they score 58.4 points per game and allow just 59.6, while the Vandals average 66 points per game and give up 71.3. Despite the scoring differences, Idaho shoots at a slightly higher percentage than the Aggies.

After facing New Mexico State, Idaho will play its fourth consecutive game against a team entering with a winning WAC record when it hosts Louisiana Tech on Jan. 17 in the Cowan Spectrum at 6 p.m.
