The Idaho women's basketball team will look to extend its winning streak to four games on Thursday as it pays UT Arlington a visit for a 5 p.m. tipoff.

The Vandals have gotten to .500 for the first time this season by winning six of their last seven games. Idaho enters the game with a 12-12 overall record and a 9-4 mark in Western Athletic Conference play, while UT Arlington is 4-18 overall and 2-10 in the WAC.

Idaho junior Alyssa Charlston is nearing the 1,000 career point milestone, as she enters the game with 997 points, needing just three more to become the 18th Vandal player to join the club. The 6-foot-1 post is averaging 14.2 points per game this season.

Charlston's 1,000-point milestone isn't the only historical mark on the line on Thursday. Idaho freshman Christina Salvatore needs four 3-pointers to tie the program's single season record of 76, set by Susan Woolf during the 1998-99 season. Salvatore is averaging 3.0 made 3s per game this season, but has made 15 in her last three games. Idaho can also tie or break the program record for 3-pointers made in a season by making 12 or more. This year's Vandal squad has drained 204 3-pointers, 12 shy of the record 216 made by the 2009-10 team. Idaho has made 12 or more 3-pointers in a game four times this season.

If the Vandals win on Thursday it would mark the first time the team has been over .500 since March 9, 2011, when it was 15-14. The last time an Idaho team won four consecutive games was February of 2005.

UT Arlington snapped its nine-game losing streak with a 73-72 2OT win at Texas State last week before falling 73-45 to UTSA. The Mavericks are led by 8.9 points per game. Aron Garcia averages 6.4 points and 7.8 rebounds for UTA.

Idaho will wrap up its road trip at Louisiana Tech on Feb. 16 and then have 11 days off before its next game, a matchup with UTSA in the Cowan Spectrum on Feb. 28.
