FAYETTEVILLE, Ark- Universityof Idaho junior Hannah Kiser finished 5th in the women’s 3000m in her second-consecutive NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday.
Kiser posted a time of 9:07.76, just behind Iowa State’s, Betsy Saina who finished the race with a time of 9:07.34. Dartmouth junior Abbey D’Agostino won the race with a time of 9:01.08.
After having set the Western Athletic Conference and Idaho school records in the 3000m, Kiser was also able to capture the WAC and school records in the mile this season.
With the indoor season at an end, Idaho now shifts their focus to the outdoor track and field season. Competition starts in two weeks with the Whitworth Buc Scoring meet on Saturday, Mar. 22 at Spokane, Wash.
