LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The Idaho women's basketball team heads to its second consecutive Western Athletic Conference semifinal on Friday when it faces second-seeded Utah State at noon in the Orleans Arena.
Idaho, the No. 3 seed in the tournament, is coming off a thrilling last-second victory over San Jose State in the quarterfinals. Utah State (18-12) swept the regular season series against Idaho (15-15), winning 91-85 in Moscow on Jan. 5, and 81-50 in Logan, Utah on Jan. 31. The Aggies beat Denver 78-65 in the quarterfinal to reach the semis. The other WAC semifinal features top-seeded Seattle U against No. 5 Louisiana Tech at 2:30 on Friday.
