|Vandals Fall 2-0 at Grand Canyon|
PHOENIX—The start to the second half of the Western Athletic Conference schedule did not bring kind results to the Idaho Vandals on Sunday. Grand Canyon was able to fend off the Vandals late offensive push to gain its second win of the season, 2-0.
“We lost to the better team today,” head coach Pete Showler stated. “We didn’t take care of what we need to and as a consequence of that the result it what it is.”

Minutes later senior Chelsie Breen sent a header high off a Katie Baran corner kick. In the 85th minute Darcy sent another Baran corner high off her header chance. Kavita Battan’s header off a JP Burgess corner opportunity sailed high over the net in the 86th minute.
