|Kendall Gray signs with Idaho|
MOSCOW, Idaho – Fife High School’s Kendall Gray has signed a national letter of intent to play golf for the University of Idaho’s women’s team.
“Kendall is an individual we have watched play for many years,” coach Lisa Johnson said. “It is exciting to have watched her progress at such a rapid rate and qualify for national events.”
Gray is a four-year letterwinner at Fife and was very active in junior golf during the summers. She won the 2013 Pacific Northwest Golf Association’s Junior Girls Tournament and was second in the WIAA 2A state championship in 2012 and 2013. She also participated in the 2012 USGA Junior Girls Championship and the 2013 USGA WAPL Tournament.
At Fife, she was the Trojan of the Quarter for Math, History and English.
“Her résumé is strong,” Johnson said, “and the intangibles she will bring to the team are even stronger. She has a desire to be great and shows that in her tremendous work ethic.
“We look forward to her joining the Vandal Family and making an immediate impact.”
