MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho men’s basketball team wraps up a stretch of playing nine out of 10 games away from Moscow when it visits CSU Northridge on Sunday with a 7 p.m. (PT) tipoff.

The Vandals enter the game with a 6-6 record after back-to-back victories over Portland State and Idaho State. CSU Northridge is 6-5 on the season and has won three of its last four games entering Sunday’s matchup.

Stephan Hicks leads the team in scoring with 18.4 points per game to go along with 6.5 rebounds, while Stephen Maxwell adds 16.4 points and a team-best 8.2 rebounds per game. The Matadors are coached by Reggie Theus, who is in his first year at the school and third as a college head coach overall, with a 47-28 career record.

Idaho is led by senior Stephen Madison who averages team-bests of 16.0 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. Junior Connor Hill adds 14.5 points and senior Glen Dean averages 13.2 points and 2.1 assists per game.

Northridge owns a slim 6-4 advantage in the all-time series against Idaho, and narrowly won the last meeting between the two programs, 95-93 in Northridge in December of 2009. Sunday’s game is the first of a home-and-home series this season, as the Matadors will make the return trip to Moscow on Feb. 18.
