SPOKANE, Wash. – The Idaho men’s tennis team earned a 6-1 win over Kansas City in Western Athletic Conference action on Saturday.

The Vandals swept the doubles point and got straight-set victories at the top five singles positions for the 6-1 win.

“The guys competed hard today and we are pleased with their effort,” Idaho associate head coach Art Hoomiratana said. “If they can continue to come together as a team and focus on improving each day they have a chance to be a good team.”

The Vandals improve to 4-6 on the season with the win. Idaho returns to action Feb. 28 at Utah State and visit BYU on March 1.
