|Vandal men head to Windy City|
MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho men’s basketball team will take its last road trip of the regular season this week when it visits Chicago State on Mar. 6 and Kansas City on Mar. 8.
The Vandals tip off at Chicago State at 5 p.m. (PT), and both teams enter the game at 12-17 overall. However, the Cougars are ahead of Idaho in the Western Athletic Conference standings at 7-7, while the Vandals are 5-9 in the WAC.
The Cougars have lost five of their last seven games heading into the week while Idaho is 4-3 in its last seven. Chicago State is 2-0 all-time against Idaho, including a 57-55 win over the Vandals in Moscow earlier this season.
Stephen Madison’s 19.8 points per game lead the Vandals, while Connor Hill averages 14.1 points per game with 82 3-pointers made this season. Quinton Pippen leads the Cougars with 15.5 points per game and has made 84 3s at a 37.8 percent clip.
