SEDONA, Ariz. – The Idaho women’s team picked up its seventh clean sweep of the season with a 7-0 win at Northern Arizona on Sunday. The Vandals improve to 13-3 on the season with the win.

The Vandals won the doubles point with an 8-4 win at No. 2 and an 8-2 win at No. 3 despite a tight 8-7 loss at No. 1

Idaho won in straight sets at the top five singles positions, and Rita Bermudez won 6-2, 4-6, 11-9 at No. 6 to complete the sweep.

“This was a good win for our women,” Idaho coach Jeff Beaman said. “Playing in strong winds and at elevation will help prepare us for the WAC tournament in Las Cruces.”
