MOSCOW - It has been a perfect February for Idaho as the team has won all six games it played this month and for the second week in a row a Vandal took home the WAC player of the week award.

Maria Perevoshchikova was perfect last week, compiling a 4-0 record in singles and doubles play as Idaho moved its win streak to six matches. She claimed singles victories against Seattle's Katrina Schwab at the No. 1 spot and Christina Goehl of Pacific at the No. 2 spot. In doubles, she teamed with Alexandra Ulesanu at the No. 1 spot to beat Seattle's top pair. Against Pacific, Perevoshchikova and Daniela Cohen won at the No. 2 spot, 8-5.

It is the second player of the week award for the senior and she follows in the footsteps of Basis Maciocha who won the award last week.

Women's tennis will look to continue their winning ways with a showdown against Northern Colorado in Cheney on Sunday.
