ABOUT THE MATCH
Thursday's match is the regular-season finale for both teams. The Aggies and Vandals enter the match tied with UTSA in second place in the WAC with 12-5 conference records. NMSU has lost two of its last three matches while Idaho enters on a three-match win streak and as winners of four of its last five matches. With an Idaho win the Vandals will finish with the No. 2 or No. 3 seed in next week's WAC tournament. With a loss, the Vandals will finish fourth.
BEAT 'EM ALL!
The Vandals have a chance to get at least one win against every WAC team this season, if they can beat New Mexico State on Nov. 15. The Aggies are the only WAC team Idaho hasn't beaten this season, falling 3-2 in Moscow on Sept. 15. Idaho has swept the regular season series against Texas State, Seattle U, UT Arlington and Louisiana Tech and split with Utah State, UTSA, Denver and San Jose State.
PEAKING AT THE RIGHT TIME
Since starting the season 3-10 the Vandals have gone 11-3, getting over .500 on the season for the first time since August.
Idaho's 3-0 sweep of Louisiana Tech on Nov. 8 was the program's 700th all-time win. The Vandals now have an all-time record of 701-560-1 (.556).
