The Idaho women's basketball team hasn't lost back-to-back games in 2013. It has also never beaten Louisiana Tech. But something has got to give on Saturday when the Vandals look to rebound from Thursday's 60-58 loss at UT Arlington with a 5 p.m (PT) tipoff against the Lady Techsters.

Saturday's game is the final scheduled meeting between the two programs, as LA Tech will leave the Western Athletic Conference in 2013-14, and the Vandals are 0-16 all-time against the Lady Techsters. In the previous meeting this season, Idaho led 50-30 in the second half before being out-scored 37-8 in the final 16 minutes of the 67-58 loss in Moscow on Jan. 17. Janay Borum led three LA Tech players in double-figures with 16 points, while Alyssa Charlston scored 16 points and added nine rebounds for Idaho.

Idaho enters Saturday's game with a 12-13 overall record and a 9-5 WAC record, while LA Tech is 11-13 overall and 7-6 in the WAC. Both teams are coming off losses, as LA Tech lost its second straight game, a 87-74 defeat against Seattle U on Thursday. Idaho holds a 1.5 game lead over LA Tech for third place in the WAC standings entering the game.

Four Louisiana Tech players average double-figure points this season, led by Kelia Shelton's 14.2. Brittany Lewis averages 11.1 points, Whitney Frazier adds 10.7 and Lulu Perry is scoring 10.3. The Lady Techsters average 62.4 points per game on 38.3 percent shooting, while allowing opponents to score 67.3 points per game and shoot 39.8 percent from the field. LA Tech's 32.3 opponent 3-point FG percentage ranks ninth in the 10-team WAC, while Idaho's 33.5 3-point FG percentage ranks first.

The Vandals will have 11 days with no games after Saturday, as their next game isn't until Feb. 28 when UTSA visits the Cowan Spectrum.
