game – Senior Night
Vandal Athletics will bid farewell to four seniors Saturday night. Center Kyle
Barone (Garden Grove, Calif.) leads the group, which includes forward Wendell
Faiines (Lincoln, Neb.) and guards Mike McChristian (Vacaville, Calif.) and
Mansa Habeeb (Buffalo, N.Y.). Barone graduates as the most prolific post player
in school history. With one regular-season game and WAC tournament play
remaining, he has 1,387 points (fourth), 852 rebounds (second) and 124 blocks
(third), and has the second-most free throws made (369) and second-most free
throw attempts (520) in addition to shooting 58.2 percent from the field (third
all-time).

Western Athletic Conference Tournament
The Vandals head to Las Vegas, Nev., for the Western Athletic Conference
Tournament next week. They will enter the tournament as the sixth seed and play
the No. 3 seed in the men’s tournament opener at noon, Thursday, March 14.
A Look
at Seattle University
Seattle University is 8-20 overall after a 75-74 overtime loss to Cal State Bakersfield in a non-conference game Wednesday night at Seattle. The Redhawks had three players in double figures with Chad Rasmussen leading the way with 13, Louis Green adding 11 and Prince Obasi contributing 10. Seattle is 3-14 in WAC games.
