The Idaho Swim and Dive team raced again today against a very strong Northern Arizona team and came up short by a score of 175 to 125. The Vandals won 8 of the 16 events today including both relays.

“This could arguably be the biggest home pool advantage of any team in the country and I feel like we did not let that affect us too much,” Coach Sowa said. “We went head to head with the team that may be favored to win the conference.”

Rachel Millet continued her dominance in the pool today winning all of her events yet again. Millet has not lost an event this year.

Another top performer for the Vandals was senior diver Paige Hunt. Hunt broke her own school record in the 3-meter dive with a score of 322.93. The previous record was 319.05.

The Vandals will be working hard next week as they prepare to travel to Seattle to race against conference opponent Seattle U.

“"We knew that this would be tremendous challenge, this team doesn't lose often at home,” Sowa said. “Now we will get back work on Monday and prepare for a good Seattle team next Saturday. We still have a lot to do.”
