|Vandals wrap up road trip|
MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho men’s basketball team wraps up its five-game road trip at UC Davis on Nov. 29 with a 2 p.m. tipoff.
Idaho and UC Davis will play for the fourth time, with Idaho owning a 3-0 lead in the all-time series. Both teams enter Saturday’s game with 3-4 records on the season. The Vandals are coming off back-to-back losses for the first time in 2013-14 after falling to Columbia 65-60 and Boise State 98-89 in their last two contests. Stephen Madison leads Idaho and ranks second in the WAC with 17.3 points per game.
UC Davis is led by 18.0 points and 6.3 rebounds per game from Josh Ritchart. Corey Hawkins averages 15.7 points and 5.8 rebounds per game and Ryan Sypkens adds 11.7 points. The Aggies are averaging 71.0 points per game but allowing 76.6. UC Davis shoots 47.0 percent from the field and 35.9 percent from 3-point range with 7.3 made 3s per game, but gives up a -4.0 rebounding margin and -1.7 turnover margin.
The last time the two teams met, Idaho took a 73-66 win in Moscow on Dec. 1, 2012. Stephen Madison led the Vandals with 21 points on 7-of-14 shooting in that game. Corey Hawkins scored 20 points for the Aggies.
