HONOLULU – For the third consecutive match, the No. 51 Idaho women’s tennis team picked up a 7-0 victory, this time over Hawaii Pacific, the No. 4 ranked team in NCAA Division II.

“Great effort by the girls today,” Idaho coach Jeff Beaman said. “They really stepped up their play from yesterday and hopefully we can continue to build going into a tough match against Hawaii tomorrow.”

Idaho improves to 11-1 on the season with its 11th consecutive victory, and closes out the week with a match at Hawaii on Saturday.

“Great overall effort from every person in singles and doubles,” Beaman added. “This team is continuing to learn how to mature and show up as a group, which has been great to be a part of.”
