2013: Peterson played in all 30 matches for the Vandals in 2013 and made 28 starts…earned all-tournament team honors at the Bronco Volleyball Classic and the Cougar Classic…averaged 2.23 kills, 0.29 blocks, 2.09 digs and 0.16 aces per set while hitting .179 for the season…had 14 double-digit kill matches…had a career-high 20 kills against North Texas on Sept. 14…hit a career-best .457 against Sacramento State on Sept. 13 with 18 kills and just two errors on 35 swings…had a career-high 14 digs on two occasions…tallied seven double-digit dig matches and three double-doubles on the season…totaled 243 digs, 34 blocks, 26 aces and 19 assists on the season…also competed in track and field for the Vandals and was the 2014 WAC indoor and outdoor high-jump champion.

2012: Peterson earned WAC all-freshman team honors as a true freshman in 2012...she played in 30 matches and 109 sets and had 197 kills on the season, averaging 1.81 kills per set to go along with 0.70 digs and 0.22 blocks per set...she had six double-digit kill matches, including a career-high 17 kills against San Jose State on Oct. 20, when she hit .308...she had 14 kills and two blocks while hitting .310 in her collegiate debut on Aug. 24 against Pacific...in the WAC championship match she was two kills shy of tying her career-high, finishing with 15 while hitting .317 in the match...she hit a career-high .400 with seven kills and one error in the regular season finale at New Mexico State on Nov. 15... for the season she hit .147.

At Camas County High School: Peterson was a three-time first-team all-state selection at Camas County High School...led CCHS to three consecutive Idaho 1A Division II state championships...she was a two-time Times News Volleyball Athlete of the Year...two-time team captain...also competed in basketball and track...Peterson was an honor roll student, and earned the Leadership Award and Citizenship Award at CCHS.

Personal: Full name is Katelyn Rose Peterson...daughter of Ann Frost and Randy Peterson...has two older sisters, Lindsey and Tara...her step-father Steve Frost played football at Idaho.
