PULLMAN, Wash. - University of Idaho senior Jarred Bossio, fresh off winning the Washington State Amateur, captured the Palouse Collegiate Tuesday after concluding the 54-hole tournament with an eight-under 205.

Despite closing with his highest score of the tournament (a one-over 72), Bossio won by four strokes over San Jose State's Jay Meyers, who was at 209. Bossio opened with a six-under 65 and added a three-under 68 in his second round.

Idaho opened the tournament with a 278, which tied for the low of the tournament, but the Vandals couldn't sustain the momentum and wound up tied for fifth after following with 294-299 for a tournament total 871. San Jose State won the tournament with an 842 with Utah Valley second (859) and host Washington State third (865).

Stefan Richardson, Justin Kadin and Gordon Webb matched 222s for the tournament and were tied at 35th. Alex Pounds tied for 67th at 234 and Mark Giorgi tied for 71st at 235.
