University of Idaho junior Paige Hunt started the season off right when she won the 3-meter diving event at the Vandals’ dual with Boise State. The effort did not go unnoticed as she was chosen the Western Athletic Conference Diver of the Week.

Hunt, who joined the Vandals last fall and is a native of Mesa, Ariz., won the event with a 249.10. She added a second-place in the 1-meter event with a 223.60 to tally 13 points for the Vandals.

Idaho is at Seattle Saturday where the Vandals will take on Seattle University and UC Davis at noon at Seattle U.
